ABOUT

 

Salvatore is an award-winning photographer based in London.

 

Originally from Sicily, he obtained a Degree in Communication Studies in Rome and a Master’s Degree in Creative Management in London. Salvatore is a self-taught photographer and his photographic approach fuses fashion and documentary photography. 

 

The imprinting is cosmopolitan, the attitude is nomadic.

 

In 2014 his first personal work “Red Kusthi: an old fight” won the prestigious 1st prize at the Sony World Photography Awards and at the Int’l Photography Awards (IPA). Soon after he released his second personal project, “120AFTER at secretsundaze”,published by Rolling Stone Italy and Groove Germany and exhibited in Berlin sponsored by Bombay Sapphire in media partnership with Interview Magazine Germany.

 

In searching for an approach in fashion photography and social life, he developed his latest project called “Project Mirabella: Tales of Beauty”. Featured in The Guardian, National Geographic and in the The British Journal of Photography, It is a beauty story enriched with strong personalities of women who risked their lives looking for freedom, happiness and a more promising future.
 

Salvatore works both in London and abroad. His work has appeared in Vogue.it, The Guardian, National Geographic's Proof, CNN,  The Independent Magazine, Rolling Stone Italy, Hunger Magazine, Vanity Fair Italy, The British Journal of Photography, Creative Review and IL Sole 24 Ore just to name a few.
